Here are some common questions that our window cleaning customers have asked:

I have light carpets, are they going to get dirty?

* No they will not. At KC Power Clean, we wear "booties" (blue shoe covers) when working inside your home. Our ladders and buckets are also cleaned before entering your home.

I have fog between my window panes, can you remove it?

* Unfortunately we can not. The window is damaged and you need to notify the manufacturer. This is the result of "solar pumping."
The good news is that by keeping your windows clean, it lowers the chances of this happening in the future.

Can you make a weekend appointment?

* Yes, we are often willing to work on Saturdays.

Do I need to be home during the cleaning?

* We ask our first-time clients to be home during the cleaning. After the first service, we are willing to service the exterior windows if all pets are properly contained.

What is your cancellation policy?

* We hope you contact us as soon as possible in case of a cancellation. However, any appointment that is cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled service date is subject to a $99 cancellation fee.

What about my screens?

* We always assume you want your screens cleaned, so they are included in the estimate. If your home does not have screens, please notify us because we will consider it in your home's estimate (if estimate is done over the phone).

What about the estimates? Do you come check out the home?

* We always offer free estimates over the phone (which is usually sufficient). In the event that we need to see the job, our estimates are still free.

How often should my windows be cleaned?

* We recommend cleaning your windows every 3-6 months. This helps protect your windows from the different elements of each season, keep the costs of cleaning your windows down, and it will make your home look new all year round. Discounted rates apply for frequent window cleaning customers.

What if I forget when my last cleaning was?

* We keep records of our clients schedules. You can call us anytime to find out when the last service was, and when your next service should be. We also send occasional reminders via e-mail, a friendly phone call, or regular mail.

Does KCPC offer a rain guarantee?

* Yes we do! Our rain guarantee is 7 days unless otherwise noted. Remember that rain spotting usually does not occur on clean windows because rain-water is pure. The saying is true, "it always rains better on clean windows."
